What Ownership Is Really Like
Owning the C5010 is mostly about fitting a real portafilter machine into a very small slice of counter. At about 5.5 inches wide, it is narrow enough for apartments, offices and crowded coffee corners, yet it still gives you a pressure gauge, manual steam wand and separate single/double baskets.
The workflow is fast but still manual
CHULUX says the machine preheats in about 30 seconds. From there, you add ground espresso, tamp, lock the portafilter and press the shot button. The pressure gauge gives you some feedback on extraction, and milk drinks require you to switch to the steam wand and texture milk yourself. After steaming, the boiler may need a short cooling step before returning to brewing.
Small size does not mean zero cleanup
The 40 oz tank and removable drip tray are easy to access, but the usual portafilter cleanup still applies. The manufacturer specifically recommends frequent steam-wand cleaning, and milk technique takes some practice. The compact body also means you are buying for space efficiency, not high-volume back-to-back service.
