What Ownership Is Really Like
The PE3670U gives you a fairly traditional espresso routine in a compact package. It does not grind beans for you and it does not automate milk, so the ownership experience starts with whatever grinder or pre-ground coffee you choose and ends with your own puck preparation and steaming technique.
The machine gives you structure, not automation
The display shows brew temperature around 198 degrees Fahrenheit, while low-pressure pre-infusion and automatic single/double shot buttons add consistency to the process. You still grind, dose and tamp, then switch the machine into steam mode for milk. That makes it approachable, but not hands-off.
Maintenance is straightforward and frequent
The manual calls for emptying the drip tray, rinsing the portafilter and baskets and wiping/purging the steam wand after use. It also recommends descaling roughly every two to three months depending on water hardness and usage. That is a meaningful ownership commitment for a small machine, especially if you make milk drinks regularly.
What Amazon customers add to the picture
Our Amazon feedback is positive around value, overall quality, ease of use, compact size and an approachable espresso workflow. The negative themes are more consequential: failures within months, steam-wand problems, overheating, difficult cleaning, unclear instructions and a burning-plastic smell appear in the evidence. Failures reported after two to eight months are materially elevated in the governed reliability analysis.
Our Editorial Take
The Neretva is appealing when price, compactness and a straightforward semi-automatic routine matter most. It can be a manageable first step into espresso, but the owner feedback makes reliability and steam-system issues impossible to ignore. It is a value-oriented machine with a real maintenance routine and a more cautious long-term story.
